WORKFORCE CENTRAL FLORIDA (WCF) is pleased to offer college scholarship opportunities to 2011 high school graduates in Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and Sumter counties who plan to major in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math); or science/math education.
Up to 50 $2,500 scholarships will be awarded to qualifying graduates who plan to attend a Florida public community college, university, or technical school and meet the required income criteria.
Students must complete the application and a 500-word essay and submit it to WCF (707 Mendham Road, Suite 250, Orlando, Florida 32825, Attn: Nirmala Ramlakhan) by 5 p.m. EST, Friday, April 22, 2011, to be eligible.
