Staff Development:
Annual FCPN Symposium - Approximately 150 attendees from around the state of Florida participate in this event, which features a unique professional development experience. Each session is made up of educators with individual experiences sharing in the sessions together. The topic areas are:

- Articulation Agreements and Programs of Study
- Curriculum Integration/Contextual Learning
- Promotional and Outreach Strategies
- Work-Based/Work-Site Learning
- Grants & Grant Writing
- Career Information Planning and Assessment
- Tech Prep 101
National Career Pathways Network Conference - This conference includes all-day workshops, a National Science Foundation/Advanced Technological Education Preconference, and over 275 breakout sessions showcasing best practices from around the country.
Established in 1991, the National Career Pathways Network (NCPN) assists members in planning, implementing, evaluating, and improving Tech Prep and related education initiatives by pooling the resources of the country's leading practitioners to provide a network of communication of new and existing programs.

Recognition:
FCPN sponsors the Special Project Development Awards. Secondary and post secondary teachers are encouraged to submit an integrated curriculum project they have developed and implemented. Winners are announced at the Annual FCPN Symposium. They receive a $500 check and are also recognized on the FCPN website.
Networking:
FCPN serves educational professionals in the State of Florida. FCPN is represented at numerous events throughout the year; i.e. FACTE, NCPN, ACTE, FETC, TechPath Committee, etc. Members are encouraged to attend/participate in as many events as possible to form partnerships which mutually benefit all involved.
Information:
The FCPN provides a listserv where members can pose questions to the whole group. Members also share curriculum information.
Support:
FCPN, in general, can support your local Tech Prep efforts. Many highly qualified and informed individuals are involved in Tech Prep throughout the State and are more than willing to help with your individual needs.
