DESCRIPTION:

To promote awareness of gender as related to career opportunities, students at Pensacola Junior College were selected as role models for their programs of study for a 2008-09 wall calendar. Examples of selected programs are Building Construction, Computer information, Dental Hygiene.

To the left to the student’s photo is printed a brief description of the personality attributes, interests and skills often identified with the identified career.

Key academic and college dates are included as well as interesting and relevant holidays- such as Radiological Technician Week (Nov 2-8), Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day (Feb 26).
