2008 Project: Creating a Culture of Success for Career Academies: Leading to Best Practices Including Schedule Development

DESCRIPTION:

This session will review the administrative challenges of converting a comprehensive high school into Academies - the change process and leadership "best practices" needed to make that change.  

Also, the "how-to's" for implementation of the National Standards of Practice used to design Academy structure which includes creating master schedules, integrated curriculum, personalization, professional development needs, and establishing business partnerships.  

This will be an interactive session, geared toward administrators, which will allow for questions along the way.
